Do these situations seem familiar:
- your blog get up and go has got up and gone without you - at least as far as images are concerned
- you find it hard to locate photos that are newsworthy and relevant
- you don't want to have to pay to use pictures on your blog
Picapp is a free-to-use website that offers over 20 million images for people to use in their own blogs. It is FREE, LEGAL and, best of all, does not require users to create an account. Once you've found an image you'd like to use simply copy the embed code and paste it into your blog post.

Discovery exercise:
- visit Picapp and explore the site
- choose an image - any image, it needn't necessarily relate to web 2.0 or libraries at all - and add it to your Week 2 : Picapp post
- create a post about Picapp, consider: Why did you choose this particular image? Is this site easy for staff to use? Would customers find it simple? How could Manukau Libraries benefit from a site such as Picapp? Do you think that you're likely to use this site again? Would you promote this site to customers? Why/why not?
2 tasks down and 4 to go :-)
